The Universal is a much neater and effective bit than the Dutch Gag. With its offset ring at the top and built in bottom ring horses seem to appreciate its action rather than oppose it. Combining a warm metal mouthpiece with a lozenge centre the bit is generally accepted by most horses. There are many rein options available and an option of using a back strap if required.
