Ideal if you need a little more than your normal snaffle but not as much the gag. This bit will give an inch of gag action. Due to the copper inserts the mouthpieces slides very easily and does not stick like other plastic bits. Therefore when you release the rein it will quickly fall back to a snaffle action. If the gag action is not required then the rein can be put onto the actual bit ring.
