Kimblewicks - Shop

Should the bit or size you require not be listed please contact us and we will check with the supplier and let you know if it is in stock.

It is impossible to stock every bit  which is why we only show what we have at present bar the odd mistake!

Kimblewicks were originally known as the Spanish Jumping bit, but changed its name thanks to Phil Oliver father of Allan who lived at Kimblewick. It is also known as Kimberwick in the USA.

Many versions are available from the plain cheek to the slotted giving the rider more rein options.

The proper Kimblewicks have a square eye where the cheek pieces are attached this in turn helps bring in the direct poll pressure. The mass produced Kimblewicks have the more rounded eye.
