The German Hackamore is stronger in its action than the English due its design. Tightly fitted and with long cheeks, it can exert tremendous pressure on the nose and the lower jaw as well as the poll.
Although there are Combination Hackamores on the market some riders do combine a bit with a Hackamore.
Most hackamores tend to come one size.
