Used correctly a Kineton Noseband is a fantastic piece of kit to have in your tack room.

It can be used on strong or sensitive horses or horses who dislike been strapped down by flash nosebands etc.

It is designed to move the pressure away from the horses mouth and onto the nose. It has a restraining function on the nose like a hackamore but without the leveridge.

Care does need to be taken when fitting, if the noseband is too short across the nose it will pull the butts of the snaffle forwards towards the nose and thus inverting the V shape of the bit in the mouth. Good quality Kinetons will have adjustment on the front of the nose.
